FIELD: acceleration engineering; heavy-current charged-particle accelerators with short current pulse length for radiation chemistry, activation analysis, etc. SUBSTANCE: system has master oscillator 1 connected through controlled phase shifter 2 and power amplifier 3 to storage device built up of two cavities 4 and 5 connected to high- frequency channel via two circulators 6 and 7; inserted between them are high-frequency switch 8 and directional coupler 9 whose output functions as system output. System output power is 13 times higher than output power of amplifier 3 due to energy storage in two cavities 4 and 5 and simultaneous change-over of phase shifter 2 and switch 8 at cavity-to-channel coupling factor $$$.
