FIELD: radiation chemistry, activation analyses, fundamental investigations in high-energy physics, etc. SUBSTANCE: accelerator is provided with delay line 4, high-frequency power switch 3, and high-frequency bridge 5. First arm of circulator 2 is connected to high-frequency power supply. Its second arm is connected in series with high-frequency power switch 3, delay line 4, and first arm of high-frequency bridge 5; third arm of circulator 2 is connected to second arm of bridge 3 whose third arm is connected to accelerating section 6 fourth arm is connected to matched load 7. EFFECT: improved strength of accelerating field and, hence, energy of accelerated particles due to adding oscillator wave energy and energy stored in delay line at input of accelerating section. 1 dwg
