FIELD: acceleration engineering; heavy-current charged-particle accelerators with short current pulse length designed for radiation chemistry, activation analysis, fundamental investigations in high-energy physics, etc. SUBSTANCE: power system has master oscillator 1, high-speed phase shifter 2, power amplifier 3, delay lines 4,5 connected to high-frequency channel through circulators 6,7, and high-frequency bridge 8. Output of power amplifier 3 is connected to high-frequency bridge 8 through circulator 9 whose loose arm functions as output of high-frequency power.
