FIELD: environmental control. SUBSTANCE: device for collecting oil from water surface includes oil removing member 1 with lower part made in form of hemisphere and immersed in water. Oil removing member 1 is attached to vertical shaft 10 and drive 11 and coaxially arranged in hole of oil receiver 3. Spherical part 2 is smoothly joined in upper part with end face flange whose edges bent down to form groove 9 opened from below. Vertical circular partition 7 is rigidly connected to opening edges of oil receiver 3. Circular partition 7 enters groove 9 with clearance. When oil removing member rotates, oil film rises due to its adhesion properties and in thrown to oil receiver 3. Due to oil removing member made in form of hemisphere with end face flange whose edges are bent down to form groove accommodating circular partition of oil receiver, operation efficiency rises as wetting surface increases, and losses of collected oil reduce.
