FIELD: environmental control; applicable in cleaning of water surface of water reservoirs and swamps from oil products. SUBSTANCE: plant has catching device, pump and electric motor mounted on extending boom which is installed on self-propelled vessel moving over swamps or on ship; collectors of oil and oil products connected with pump by means of pipeline system. Pump is of open type and consists of large bevel gear installed horizontally with its teeth oriented downward and driving small bevel gear enclosed in body and meshed with large gear. Small gear shaft is connected via reducing gear to electric motor. Connected to lower side of body of small gear is pressure branch pipe communicated by pipeline system to collectors of oil and oil products. Catching device consists of two cones located under each other, and oriented with their vertexes upward. Upper cone is located on water surface and its external edges are smoothly bent upward to the level of location of cone vertex and connected by circular horizontal plate to form closed space. Attached to lower cone is circular plate to form also a closed space. Closed spaces of upper and lower cones are separated by vertical radial partitions into sections filled with compressed air or water. Located between them and upper cone are large and small gears which are guarded from below by means of net to prevent solid particles from getting to between teeth of gears. EFFECT: higher functional and economic efficiency of process due to design of plant; considerable reduction of amount of pumped water and due to it reduction of not rational consumption of energy. 2 cl, 9 dwg
