SUBSTANCE: oxygen pressure at the inlet of the diaphragmatic oxygenator is maintained equal to blood pressure at its outlet which rules out gas embolism and reduces mechanical loading of diaphragms. The device for realization of method comprises gas pressure regulator 6 whose control chamber 13 is sealed, filled with liquid and connected by tube 16 via a replaceable flexible divider 15 with the line of blood discharged from the diaphragmatic oxygenator, and an adjustable flow restrictor at the oxygen outlet from said oxygenator.
