FIELD: compression moulding. SUBSTANCE: large-scale outworn die is divided into series of blanks for manufacture of dies and parts for them. Obtained blanks are additionally separated into blanks and subject to sloping trimming in the zones of arrangement of grooves and chambers of outworn die. After that the obtained semifinished items are heated to forging temperature and the items are forged to predetermined sizes starting from the surfaces subject to sloping trimming. The outworn die is separated along the axes of the holes and impression of the groove, generating line of the chamber in the measuring blank. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of manufacture of dies and parts for them. 2 cl, 5 dwg
