FIELD: metal cladding. SUBSTANCE: method provides high metal yielding due to 100% melting of a metal of a blank, being fused on, with a fused metal in an interelectrode gap. Such result is achieved due to cross oscillations of a lower end of a front electrode with frequency 1-2 oscillation per minute and with an amplitude, providing overlapping of the interelectrode gaps. Before fusion on operation the front electrode is being spaced before terminal (in a fusion direction) electrodes by a distance, equal to B+30 mm, where B maximum thickness of terminal electrodes. Cross sections of all electrodes are the same. EFFECT: enhanced metal yielding. 1 cl, 2 dwg, 1 tbl
