FIELD: scintillator technology; scintillator materials. SUBSTANCE: secondary solvent, such as ethyl alcohol, and a surface-active agent, such as neonol AF-12, are introduced in the mixture in the proportion of (g/l): 2-(4-biphenylyl)-5- phenyl oxazole 8-10; neonol AF 9-12 0.6-0.8; ethyl alcohol 0.3- 0.4; n-xylene 1.0. The fluid scintillator of the invention allows to introduce up to 100% of water in the composition while preserving the sufficient efficiency for tritium registration. EFFECT: increased efficiency of operation; increased water solution capacity. 1 tbl
