FIELD: woodworking industry. SUBSTANCE: device comprises a centrifugal drive on a hydraulic support in the form of sleeve-float 1 installed in water-filled casing 2. Sleeve-float 1 is connected by a flexible shaft with electric motor shaft. Installed on end surface of sleeve 1 is a bank of cylindrical tubes 3 having impregnating chambers. Each of said chambers consists of cylindrical tubes 3, end cover 4 and identical partitions 5 and 6 provided with end seals, interconnected with one another and forming a sealing piston. Impregnating chambers accommodate sawn timber 8. Cutouts for loading the blanks are made in the middle of each cylindrical tube 3. Disc 5 has through holes for the supply of impregnating liquid. Mounted on tube 3 between disc partitions 5 and 6 is funnel 9. Shaped pipeline 10 secured underneath the tube 3 serves for discharging the remaining impregnating liquid. In operation, the sealing piston of one of the impregnating chambers is shifted towards the second chamber. A package of blanks is delivered through the central cutout into tube 3 and shifted in contact with end cover 4. Then the sealing piston is moved in contact with the end surface of the blank package. The second impregnating chamber and each tube of the bank are loaded in a similar manner. The impregnating liquid is delivered through funnels 9. Then the electric motor is switched on and accelerated to a speed corresponding to the impregnating conditions of the blanks. The centrifuge is operated for a certain time in the impregnating duty, then the drive is stopped and the blanks are removed from the impregnating chambers.
