FIELD: powder metallurgy. SUBSTANCE: installation for production of metal powder from melt has a sealed melting chamber with a lined crucible, arc power source and an independent heat source made for reciprocating motion, blank feeder to the melting zone, granulator and powder-granules receiver. Besides, it is provided with an additional sealed dispersion chamber, adjoining the melting chamber and conjugated to it at an angle of 40 to 50°, the melting chamber and dispersion chamber are connected through a window, vertically installed above which is the independent heat source for rocking motion along the crucible longitudinal axis; the blank feeder to the melting zone is mounted in the form of pushers horizontally arranged on the opposite side of the crucible for reciprocating motion, one of the pushers is made of the material of remelted blanks; each pusher is connected to the poles of the electric arc power source, the granulator is positioned in the dispersion chamber at an angle of 40 to 50° to the axis of the independent heat source in alignment with the center of the window connecting the chambers. Besides, the lined crucible is installed in such a way that the edge of the lip lies on intersection of the granular axis and window plane. The installation is provided with an inert gas circulation system. The powder-granules receiver is connected to the dispersion chamber through an intermediate chamber with a sampler taking powder-granules for analysis. EFFECT: facilitated procedure. 4 cl, 3 dwg
