FIELD: parachute technique. SUBSTANCE: parachute canopy has blades 2 and is provided with wedge-shaped gores 3 located between adjacent blades 2 and shroud lines 4 fitted on peripheral hem 5 and corners 6 of blades 2. Wedge-shaped gores 3 are provided with additional shroud lines 7 fitted on their peripheral hem 8 and connected in common unit 9 with shroud lines 4 of parachute 1; unit 9 is connected with thimble 10. In the course of operation, canopy of parachute 1 has larger frontal section due to wedge-shaped gores 3 provided with additional shroud lines 7 fitted on their peripheral hem 8 and kept together with shroud lines 4 of parachute 1 fitted on corners 6 of blades 2 in common unit 9 linked with thimmble 10 of other shroud lines 4 of parachute 1; gores 3 provided with their own shroud lines 7 work as independedt parachutes. Peripheral hem 8 is stretched to full length, thus increasing the perimeter and area of inlet hole as a whole. Such parachute is stable in flow. EFFECT: enhanced aerodynamic drag and high stability of parachute in flow. 3 dwg
