FIELD: nuclear physics analysis of material. SUBSTANCE: device of first modification has activation and biological shielding units. Activation unit has chamber and its plug. Chamber accommodates two samples each built up of two parts embracing filter selectively absorbing neutrons; filter also is built up of two parts. Vertical coaxial channels are made in plug, holder, activation unit built of neutron-neutral materials and in biological shielding unit; channels form common channel accommodating neutron source and gamma-ray detector mounted for displacement along its axis and interconnected so that when gamma-ray detector is placed against sample holder, neutron source is placed in biological shielding unit channel. Device of second modification has its filter built up of three parts, activation unit and plug have slots for input/output of all filter parts. Device is provided in addition with elevator for displacing sample holder. EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities. 2 cl, 2 dwg
