FIELD: equipment for removal of scale. SUBSTANCE: stable arc discharge is induced between anodes and belts. Cathode spots are disposed generally onto the parts where scales or pollution are present. After part of the belt between semianodes is cleaned, the spots shift outside the boundaries of the part and cleaning of surface of the belt is continued. Current-receiving faces of prismatic semianodes are disposed in parallel to axis of the belt and to direction of its motion in order to provide obstacle-free pass and uniform distribution of cathode spots along the surface of the belt. To improved productivity and to clean surface of the belt on its both sides, corresponding anodes are disposed symmetrically to surfaces to be treated. Belts after being treated by electric arc discharge in vacuum has good appearance, improved corrosion strength, developed surface. EFFECT: improved productivity; improved quality of treatment and cleaning. 3 dwg
