FIELD: lumbering equipment. SUBSTANCE: line comprises a rail track, cutting-and-grading machines with a delivery conveyor and a manipulator, a waste conveyor, a receiving trestle with a pulling-apart mechanism, and receivers. The line is also provided with an additional delivery conveyor arranged square to the rail track. Logs are delivered to the cutting-and-grading machines. The manipulator carries a log onto the delivery conveyor of the cutting-and-grading machine which cuts it into specified lengths and places them into receivers. In case of a large log whose weight exceeds the loading capacity of the manipulator, said log is shifted by the pulling-apart mechanism onto the additional conveyor which moves the log into the cutting machine.
