FIELD: vacuum facilities. SUBSTANCE: cooling agent is poured into flask 1. As a result the absorbent begins to cool off intensively. When the absorbent temperature reaches the value approximately equal to the cooling agent temperature, into retort 2 the pumped out gas is fed, part of it is absorbed by the absorbent superficial layer. The remaining part goes to the gap where its helical motion is ensured along the whole height of the absorbent layer. Under the action of centrifugal forces the pumped out gas penetrates through the perforation of tube 4 into the absorbent volume. The uniformity of distribution and the effectiveness of absorbing the absorbent gas is ensured along all the height of the absorbent layer. After the latter is saturated with gas its feeding is stopped. In consequence of that the desorption of the gas absorbed by the absorbent is carried out. At the expense of the high-speed gas pressure an ejection effect is created near the wall of perforated tube 4, that is the improvement of the pumped out characteristics of the pump is obtained. During the desorption the gas entraps the absorbent particles which fall behind the wall of retort 2 and fall out of the gas flow. The absorbent particles which have not fallen out of the gas flow at the expense of the cyclone effect are separated from the gas in the whirl zone between the walls of retort 2 and compensator 15 at the expense of the abrupt reduction of the gas speed. The final separation of the absorbent particles from the desorption gas is exercised in zone 16 of separation. EFFECT: reduced entrainment of the absorbent particles with the desorbed gas. 2 cl, 2 dwg
