FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: ball-screw transmission gear comprises screw with threaded grooves and projections uniformly arranged over periphery and nut with ways made on its inner surface as closed ring grooves which cooperate with balls interposed between the thread turns. The balls set in the adjacent thread grooves are spring-loaded in pair with flexible members. Each flexible member is made of a cross-like plate spring mounted in the ring groove of the nut. The longitudinal ends of the spring are made for permitting interaction with balls. The lateral end cooperate with the inner diameter of the nut. The flexible member may be made of a cylindrical compression spring.
EFFECT: enhanced kinematical precision of the gear.
