FIELD: biotechnology, genetic engineering. SUBSTANCE: recombinant plasmid DNA puR2N in which gene duplication encoding tick-borne encephalitis virus protein NS1 short form is carried out encodes the synthesis of tick-borne encephalitis virus protein NS1 short form in E.coli cells. DNA puR2N is constructed on the basis of large Eco RI-fragment of vector plasmid puR290 (size is 5.1 thousand nucleotide pairs), SalI -AluI (3521)-fragment of plasmid puC18SE containing encoding gene sequence for tick-borne encephalitis virus protein NS1 short form and two synthetic DNA fragments (size is 21 and 9 thousand nucleotides pairs, respectively). Invention can be used in microbiological industry and medicine for development of highly effective prophylaxis and diagnostic agents for struggle against tick-borne encephalitis.
