FIELD: foam polyimides. SUBSTANCE: method involves interaction of tetracarboxylic acid or its dianhydride with lower aliphatic aqueous solution, at heating, addition of mixture of 4,4'-diaminodiphenylmethane and 4,4'-diaminodiphenylsulfone taken at mole ratio (0.8-0.2): (0.2-0.8) at room temperature, surface-active substance followed by thermic working and frothing ground reaction product. Synthesized foam polyimides can be used for internal finishing of transport facilities. EFFECT: improved method of synthesis. 1 tbl
