FIELD: machine-tool manufacture and instrument making. SUBSTANCE: shaft 1 is kinematically connected through transmission mechanism 2 with lead screw 3 on which nut 4 linked with carriage 5 is mounted. Code shaft 6 is kinematically connected with shaft 1 by transmission mechanism 7. Cleat 8 is linked with running shaft 6 by means of worm pair 9 - 10. Worm 9 is made hollow and is mounted on bushing 11 assembled on running shaft for axial displacement on dowel 12. Worm 9 is tightened by spring 1. During machine tool operation transmission mechanism 7 is tuned in leading the carriage motion from running shaft relative to motion from lead screw, running shaft and lead screw are rotated simultaneously. As a result the load is fully perceived by pair worm 9 - worm wheel 10. EFFECT: enhanced reliability and expanded technological capabilities due to reduction of depreciation and to enhanced accuracy of displacement by redistributing friction forces between links of kinematic chain. 3 cl, 2 dwg
