FIELD: ferrous metallurgy, particular, technology of production of hot-rolled strips from corrosion-resistant chrome-nickel austenitic steel. SUBSTANCE: after hot rolling with temperature at the end of rolling of 900-1100 C, coiling into roll at constant over strip length temperature of 780-880 C, subsequent cooling of the roll is carried out at the rate calculated by the relation Vcool= (5.7-12.6)xC/Cr, where Vcool. is roll cooling rate, C/h; C and Cr is mass percentage of carbon and chromium in steel; up to the temperature of 500-650 C and further on, at arbitrary rate. EFFECT: higher quality of strips due to reduction of liability to intercrystalline corrosion at simultaneous decrease of production cycle. 1 tbl
