FIELD: wood working industry. SUBSTANCE: resine is applied on the veneer sheets, and package assembly is carried out of external and internal layers. External layers were made of decorative paper impregnated with resine. Veneer sheets adjoining to decorative paper were impregnated preliminary in antipyrene solution for 10-30 min. Layer of thin transparent paper impregnated with urea-melaminoformaldehyde resine for enhanced water resistance is applied over decorative paper. Hot pressing is carried out at 130-145 C. EFFECT: improved method of veneer preparing, enhanced quality and properties of veneer, increased output of method. 2 cl, 1 tbl
