FIELD: wood-working industry. SUBSTANCE: birch veneer is impregnated with solution of fireproofing compound, for instance, diammonium phosphate up to absorption by veneer of dry salt in the amount of 20-25%. Impregnated veneer is dried to moisture content of 8 ± 2%. Then pack is assembled and binding agent, for instance, resin SFZh-3014 is applied to even-numbered veneer sheets and subjected to hot pressing. Upon completion of pressing process, sheets of fireproof plywood are arranged at intervals for process ageing. EFFECT: higher quality of fireproof plywood due to improved decorative and adhesion properties of its surface.
