METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THROWING OBJECTS Russian patent published in 1995 - IPC

FIELD: pneumatics. SUBSTANCE: method is based on creating excess pressure of working agent by displacing it from flexible sleeve when winding sleeve onto the drum; object is accelerated when the other flexible sleeve is turned out. Device has pressure-tight chamber 1 with branch pipes 2-4; the pipes have different diameters. The chamber communicates with working agent supply system 17. Elastic sleeves 7,9,10 are mounted in the branch pipes; ends of the sleeves are closed and turned out inside. End of sleeve 7 with maximal diameter is fastened to drum 5. Objects 15 and 16 for throwing are located at hollows of sleeves 9 and 10. When winding sleeve 7 onto drum 5, working agent to be displaced acts on sleeves 9 and 10. Sleeves 9 and 10 throw objects 15 and 16 when turning out. EFFECT: improved efficiency. 2 cl, 2 dwg
