Controllable delay units 5, 6 provide for adjusting sensitivity of photodetectors thus ensuring the carrying out of measurements at a fixed amplitude of video signal, and thus taking in account the effect of temperature. EFFECT: higher informativeness and wider functional capabilities due to simultaneous measurement in two sections of dimensions, positions, temperature, and increased accuracy of measurement by attained by correcting for displacement of the article along the optical axis. 9 dwg
