FIELD: electrical engineering. SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in power converters. High-voltage valve is composed of column 6 including network of blanked thyristors connected in series and shunted by unit 2 of current transfer coupled to generator 3 of pulses of pumping current. Unit 2 incorporates low-frequency semiconductor structure 4 using inertial properties of restoration of reverse valve strength and semiconductor key 5 of current transfer which can be manufactured completely controlled connected in series. Generator 3 is built on low-voltage source 7 of voltage, completely controlled pumping key 8, forming choke 9 and diode 10 so connected that they create together with unit 2 facilitated condition of shutting of thyristors of column 6. In this case level of power yielded in blanked thyristors diminishes and influence of spread of time of dispersal of charges in these thyristors is eliminated. As voltage of power supply source before switching off is applied to semiconductor structure 4 so key 5 cen be low-voltage one that is it should endure voltage of source 7 only. EFFECT: increased reliability, reduced installed capacity, enhanced efficiency byorganization of circuit for recuperation of energy of forming choke of generator, improved mass-and size characteristics with simultaneous reduction of commutation losses. 3 cl, 4 dwg
