FIELD: space engineering. SUBSTANCE: method of removal of heat-transfer agent from temperature control systems of space vehicles consists in draining the heat-transfer agent followed by evaporating it into vacuum through vapor discharge pipe line at continuous measurement of medium pressure in temperature control system. Evaporation of heat-transfer agent to vacuum is discontinued upon sudden equalization of pressures in temperature control system and vapor discharge pipe line at level equal to or less than static pressure of vapors in discharge pipe line. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency through reduction of time required for process. 1 dwg
