FIELD: conveyor manufacture. SUBSTANCE: drive station comprises a stationary frame, an electric motor and spur-gear speed reducer with output shaft interconnected by V-belt transmission, and a traction member driving sprocket. Said sprocket is installed on reducer output shaft mounted on bearings in a duct. The electric motor and speed reducer are interconnected by suspended frame fastened to stationary frame by two-sided damper and provided at one end with a contact plug intended to interact with motor limit switch on the stationary frame. Motor torque is transmitted by V-belt to input shaft of speed reducer and thence, via output shaft, to drive sprocket and traction member. The arising dynamic forces are damped by springs because the speed reducer can swing in both directions around output shaft jointly with motor and suspended frame. EFFECT: longer service life, simpler design and reduced material content of drive station. 5 dwg
