FIELD: gas thermal spraying. SUBSTANCE: method provides for creation of plasma-air turbulent spray, metal powder particles feeding into it, particles spraying on carrier and formation of coating in conditions preventing their oxidation. Spraying is exercised in range of plasma spray enthalpy average value equal to with specified power, usage of plasma forming gas and size of particles of no more than 20 mcm. Application of the method allows to produce coating with oxygen share of 0.06 - 0.9 mass %. EFFECT: method allows to decrease degree of coating oxidation. 2 dwg, 2 tbl
