FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: described is a method for producing a bioactive coating based on silicon-substituted hydroxyapatite, which includes air-abrasive treatment using an electrocorundum powder with a dispersity of 250–300 mcm for 4–6 minutes, then, electroplasma spraying of the underlayer of titanium powder with a dispersity of 100–150 mcm for 5–10 s with an arc current of 300 A from the deposition distance of 150–200 mm is carried out to form the coating and the plasma gas flow rate of 20 l/min, followed by electroplasma spraying of silicon-substituted hydroxyapatite with a dispersion of up to 90 mcm for 12–15 s with an arc current of 350 A from the spraying distance of 50–100 mm and plasma gas flow rate of 20 l/min.

EFFECT: method is aimed at increasing the adhesion and bioactivity of the coating.
