FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, particularly for spraying liquid in controllable space during fire extinguishment.

SUBSTANCE: sprinkler has body with discharge orifice closed with valve, glass tube for valve retaining, ring-shaped heat-sensitive member formed of shape-memory metal and breaking means for breaking up glass tube. Heat-sensitive member envelops glass tube. Breaking member is made as three diametrical screws uniformly arranged from outer surface of ring-shaped heat-sensitive member and facing glass tube by sharpened ends thereof. Glass tube comprises heat-insulation washers having holes for receiving sharpened ends of corresponding screws.

EFFECT: increased speed of sprinkler response and improved reliability of sprinkler actuation.
