FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, particularly for spraying liquid in controllable space during fire extinguishment.
SUBSTANCE: sprinkler comprises body with bails, deflector, sealing member for closing body orifice, thrust means arranged between lower and upper supports, breaking means to break-down thrust means and heat-sensitive member. Breaking means is made as spring-loaded striking head arranged in orifice of one bail boss and striker having sharpened beveled part. Striker is located coaxially to striking head and has the first end installed in bail boss orifice so that striker may perform axial movement towards thrust means and cooperate with striking head. Boss have nut located coaxially thereto. Striking head comprises groove and cap arranged in nut orifice. Heat-sensitive member is washer made of fusible material mounted in striking head groove between cap thereof and nut end face. The washer comprises groove coaxial to central orifice of the washer and facing the nut.
EFFECT: simplified structure along with provision of necessary response speed and increased efficiency.
