FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, particularly for spraying liquid in controllable space during fire extinguishment.

SUBSTANCE: sprinkler comprises body with bails, deflector, sealing means closing body orifice, rods of frangible material inserted between lower and upper supports and heat sensitive member. Heat-sensitive member is formed as bent plate fixedly secured to body by one end. Edge of bent plate is engaged by one end of first L-shaped bracket mounted on side surface of one bail. The bail has orifice located near the bracket. Plate comprises flexible link of elastic material connected thereto and freely passing through bail orifice. The link envelops rods of rest means by fork-like link end passing around narrowed sections of the rods. Fork-like link end is provided with striker facing the narrowed sections by sharpened end thereof.

EFFECT: increased reliability and speed of sprinkler response.
