SPRINKLER Russian patent published in 2005 - IPC

FIELD: fire-fighting equipment, particularly for spraying water in controllable space during fire extinguishment.

SUBSTANCE: sprinkler has body with orifice, valve, bent plate of shape-memory metal, deflector and posts symmetrical to body axis. Posts are formed of frangible material and have narrowed portions located in place of contact with bent plate. Bent plate is symmetrically arranged between posts and is U-shaped. Bent plate ends have slots for receiving narrowed post parts.

EFFECT: increased reliability and provision of necessary speed of sprinkler response.
