FIELD: inorganic chemistry, in particular production of sorbent for individual breathing apparatus.
SUBSTANCE: Calcium chloride hexahydrate is dissolved in concentrated ammonia solution under cooling to 15-17°C, wherein molar ratio of CaCl2.6H2O:NH3 = 1:1. Concentrated hydrogen peroxide solution is added to obtained solution in four-multiple excess. Formed precipitate is filtered, washed and dried. Obtained calcium peroxide gas specific surface of 92-96 m /g, dynamic activity based on carbon dioxide at temperature of 300-400°C is 80 l/kg.
EFFECT: sorbent for individual breathing apparatus of improved quality.
