FIELD: testing engineering.
SUBSTANCE: grip comprises tie, plate connected with the tie, two lugs with coaxial openings at their first end, and rod for connecting with the openings in the specimen mounted in the openings. The second end of each lug is provided with T-shaped shank. The plate is provided with T-shaped grooves for receiving the shank of each lug. The width W of the lag of each groove is determined from the relationship L ≤ W ≤ 1.25L, where L is the width of the lag of the T-shaped shank.
