FIELD: experimental gas dynamics; laser welding unit.
SUBSTANCE: proposed gas producer such as that used for gas-dynamic laser unit has casing, combustion chamber, mixing head, and supersonic regulating nozzles for adding ballast gas to mixture. Installed outside combustion chamber is circular header provided with perpendicular dispensing tubes. Number of tubes equals that of contact points between combustion chamber walls and peripheral jets of combustion flame. Outlet cut of each tube is set against contact point on length equal to seven- or eight-fold displacement of combustion flame edge from chamber wall.
EFFECT: enhanced thermal stability of combustion chamber.
