FIELD: quantum electronics; large laser units burning combustion products.
SUBSTANCE: proposed laser has regenerative heat exchangers; working-medium components supply system with sources of components, including fuel; main and auxiliary gas producers; igniters; and control system. The latter has computerized unit for feeding components to regenerative heat exchangers and computerized fuel feeding unit. Working-medium components supply system has at least three independent fuel sources connected, respectively, to igniters, auxiliary gas producer, and main gas producer. In addition, newly introduced in control system is computerized OFF-operation unit incorporating operating time monitoring device and program-controlled disconnecting device that has at least four time delay units. Control system can be provided with emergency disconnecting unit as well as with cooling system for auxiliary gas producer incorporating individual coolant pipelines. Proposed laser incorporates provision for eliminating escape of unburned fuel mixture into atmosphere.
EFFECT: enhanced safety, reliability, and environmental friendliness.
