FIELD: apparatuses for effective production of working fluid of lasers operating with use of combustion products.

SUBSTANCE: gas generator includes combustion chamber; ballast gas source; ballasting device with outlet branch pipes. Each branch pipe is provided with outer annular slit for supplying ballast gas opposite to combustion products. At inlet of each branch pipe pillar is mounted. Inlet slit of branch pipe is provided with cone deflector with angle half 30 - 90°. Outlet branch pipes may be provided with hinge assemblies.

EFFECT: highly uniform mixing of ballast gas with combustion products, stable burning, enhanced heat resistance of branch pipes.
