FIELD: gyroscopic tool-making, possible use in gyroscopic devices working under conditions of changing temperatures, pressures and accelerations.
SUBSTANCE: thermostatted gyroscopic device contains two-layered case with external and internal layers of alternating high and low heat conductivity, base with sensitive element held on it by a flange. External and internal case layers are made in form of two pairs of metallic caps with walls. Each cap of external layer is held on base, creating a closed cavity, inside which the flange of sensitive element is located. Each cap of internal layer through an appropriate heat-insulating bushing is fastened to corresponding cap of external layer. Between metallic caps of external and internal layers a gas gap is formed, and thickness of walls of metallic caps of external layer δk1, and thickness of metallic cap walls δk2 satisfies the following expression: δk1≥λ2/λk1·Hk1Rk1/4δ2; δk2≥λ2/λk2·π2R2 k2/2δ2, where λ2, λk1, λk2 - heat conductivity coefficients for gas of materials of external and internal layers. Hk1 - height of external layer caps, Rk1, Rk2 - average radiuses of metallic caps of external and internal layers, δ2 - average width of gas gap.
