FIELD: gyroscopic instrumentation engineering.
SUBSTANCE: the fiber-optic gyroscope has a radiation source, electronic information transformation and processing units, photodetector device, depolarizer, splitter, integral-optic module, measuring circuit of fiber-optic light conduit positioned in a coil. The coil hub is closed with a ring and fastened on the base by fastening components through heat-insulating gaskets in the form of washers. Radial slots with crosspieces are made on the coil hub. Heat-insulating sleeves are installed in the points of passage of the fastening components through the hub. The coil with the measuring circuit is coated with foam polyurethane, and heat-liberating electronic units are positioned inside them, the electronic units are positioned inside them, electronic units are also engageable with an outer screen and a gilled radiator by means of an inner heat sink. The outlets of the light conduits are fixed in the radius ducts on the base and in the lateral walls of the coil. The heat-insulating gaskets in the form of washers are made by means of molding of the hub by constructive molding material.
EFFECT: minimized thermal drift at an enhanced reliability.
