FIELD: measurement technology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underwater detectors of vibrational displacements caused by waves in a liquid medium. The sonar signal detector includes a housing which consists of a hydroacoustic shield, which is closed by a mesh stream-protective cover, and a sealed chamber, a measurement unit consisting of detecting and sensitive elements and an electronic unit placed in the sealed chamber. The measurement unit is closed by hollow cowlings which are hermetically attached to the shield at both sides of the measurement unit. The inner cavities of the cowlings are filled with an inert liquid and are linked to the surrounding liquid medium through capillaries in the housings of the cowlings with maximum packing density in the form of a cellular structure, which forms on the surface of the detecting element symmetrical geometric points of applying directed action forces at capillary outputs. The capillaries have the same dimensions and lie equidistant from corresponding points on the surface of the detecting element.
EFFECT: higher sensitivity and accuracy of measurements.
