HYDROPHYSICAL DEVICE Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G01L7/02

Abstract SU 1841055 A1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement of statistical characteristics of hydrophysical fields of a liquid and can be used in sonar systems for detecting targets moving in a submerged position in complete silence mode. The device consists of a sealed housing (1) with a cover (2), having three cavities: a cavity (3) in the lower part and cavities (4, 5) in the upper part. The cavity (3) holds an electronic unit board (6), the cavity (4) holds measurement and compensation transducers and the cavity (5) holds a liquid compensation chamber, partially filled with a liquid identical to the ambient liquid. The cavities (4, 5) are divided into two parts each by mesh partitions, their ends are fitted with identical units (12, 13) for adaptation to varying external hydrological conditions. The measurement and compensation transducers are in the form of measurement units (8, 9) mounted diametrically opposite to each other. The measurement units (8, 9) consist of resonators (14, 15), filled with an inert liquid, and sensitive elements (16, 17), connected to the membrane-type bottoms of the corresponding resonators (14, 15). The cavity of the resonator (14) is linked to the ambient medium through capillaries (26), and the cavity of the resonator (15) is linked to the liquid of the compensation chamber through capillaries located in a plane normal to the membrane (19) planes. The electronic unit is placed in an additional sealed chamber in the housing (1) on the side of the cover (2).

EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring small changes in a carry pulse during exposure to structural noise.
