HYDROPHYSICAL TRANSDUCER Russian patent published in 2015 - IPC G01L7/02

Abstract SU 1841054 A1

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement of statistical characteristics of hydrophysical fields of a liquid and can be used in sonar systems for detecting targets moving in a submerged position in complete silence mode. The hydrophysical transducer consists of a sealed housing (1) with a cover (2), in which a measurement unit (3) with a sensitive element and an electronic unit (5) are interconnected. The sensitive element is placed inside a hollow cowling (12), on the inner surface of which there is also a resonator (9), filled with a viscous inert liquid. The bottom of the resonator (9) is in the form of a membrane (10), and its cavity is linked to the ambient medium through capillaries (14) made in the housing of the cowling (12). The sensitive element is based on a semiconductor monocrystalline paired tensoresistor in the form of a cylindrical rod of equal resistance with a lead from the middle point. The sensitive element has protuberances (6, 7) at the ends and in the middle (8) and consists of measurement and heat-compensation parts (4-2) which are symmetrical on geometrical and electrical parameters. The sensitive element is rigidly connected through a binding substance at the middle protuberance (8) to a contact pad (11) on the axis of the cowling (12), at the protuberance (6) at the end of the measurement part to the centre of the bottom of the resonator (9) perpendicular to its plane and at the protuberance (7) at the end of the heat-compensation part to a rigid support (13). A safely valve (18) is hermetically fitted at the end of the hollow cowling (12). The hydrophysical transducer also includes a gas cylinder (15), connected to an actuating mechanism (16).

EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring small changes in a carry pulse.
