FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ammunition explosives loading technology. Vacuum-lump method of destructive charge production in large-calibre ammunition cases includes filling casings with solid phase (scales, pellets, pieces, granules), its evacuation, explosive melt pouring under pressure into fractional space and cooling of a cast to hardening. To increase casting cooling rate and charges quality, cases are filled with a solid phase in an amount of 57-70 % of charge weight, explosive melt with a viscosity higher than 3 poise is inserted into the fractional space at the rate of 0.2-0.4 m/s and is maintained under pressure for 4-8 minutes after the process completion. Ammunition case is filled with a solid phase in the form of pressed pieces of hi-grad 5/95-type trinitrotoluene-hexogen mixture, thin fluid of the components mentioned at a ratio 40:60 are put into the fractional space.
