SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing octogene by nitrolysis of urotropin with concentrated nitric acid in a medium of acetic anhydride - acetic acid using ammonium nitrate in presence of anhydrous lithium nitrate, followed by extraction of end product using known techniques.
