FIELD: tube welding equipment. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for welding tubes with tube grate by explosion energy of conductor includes body of dielectric material, in which explosive conductor with current lead and filler are arranged. In order to provide protection of surfaces being welded from contamination by explosion products the body has cup like flange, whose inner diameter is more than diameter of opening of tube wall and whose inner portion height is more than height of portion of the tube to be protruded from the tube wall. EFFECT: enhanced quality of welded joint due to protection of surfaces being welded from contamination by explosion products.
