FIELD: pressure welding. SUBSTANCE: apparatus for pressure welding of tubes with pulse loading includes body of dielectric material, in which explosible cone electric conductor is placed. Height of the cone conductor corresponds to length of portion to be welded. The cone conductor is connected with pulse current source. The explosible conductor is in the form of wire helix with apex angle of the cone conductor equal to 4-20 degrees. EFFECT: lowered energy consumption, simplified manufacturing process and enlarged assortment of tubes being welded.
