FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: the distinguishing feature of disclosed medicinal starvation method lies in limiting the consumption of liquid for which purpose the "dry" fasting periods are alternated with periods when patients drink only fresh spring water, only for quenching thirst. Consumption of fresh-made juices and raw-food in initial and final periods of starvation is limited only by appetite. To facilitate tolerance for fasting with total abstention from liquid, the patients are prescribed baths and aquatic procedures. EFFECT: improved tolerance for medicinal starvation, diminished feeling of hunger, possibility to fast under habitual conditions while retaining working capacity. 2 cl
