FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering, in particular to stepper motors, and can be used in the step electric drives. The stepper motor comprises stators with windings composed of the phase coils disposed on the stator teeth. The rotor is made of electrically conductive material, located inside all the stators and has a horizontal slot. The ends of each phase coil are connected to a switching device that connects beginnings of all the coils to the neutral supply wire, and the ends of each coil are connected via closing contacts to the phases of the voltage source with the possibility of the formation of the arcuated rows comprising five coils on each stator. In each arcuated row coils form positive phase sequence to the middle of the row, and negative phase sequence after the middle.
EFFECT: technical result consists in expanding the functional capabilities by allowing implementation of a simultaneous discrete displacement of the rotor, not only circumferentially, but also longitudinally.
